yeah i’ve been doing that for the past few days just doesn’t seem it be getting any better😩
Push the gp tmw, they usually hold a few appointments back each day for urgent cases.
thank you, i will try again tomorrow. just didn’t know if they’d give me the same stuff as pharmacy gave me for my 3 year old as i’ve already got that x
So my LO got it just before he turned 3 and used the over the counter stuff as it was Christmas Eve so there was so no way I was getting a GP appt. I compared the ingredients to the one my friend got from her GP and they were exactly the same.
my doctors are just useless, rang them wednesday, thursday, friday and no answer. so before i actually go down there i didn’t know if i was wasting my time or to use the same as my oldest. was that prescribed to a child under 2? x
Are you still breastfeeding the younger one? The only thing that worked for my friends baby was breast milk.
no i’m not x
It could be an ear infection showing up as conjunctivitis. My LO had a goopie eye a week after Dad did. I called the GP to check what I could give her at 5 months. They said to come in to rule out an ear infection. She wasn’t pulling on her ear or fussy at all. It ended up being an ear infection. The antibiotics cleared up the ear and eye in two days.
awh thank you!! i’m just gunna go in tomorrow and hope they do something xx
Yeah my friends one was for her 1yo
ohh okay thank you x
My doctor recently gave chloramphenicol for conjunctivitis, if that's any help? It's horrible to try and get in the eye though as it's a gel and not a drop and trying to wrestle a 12 month old to put a gel into their eye is annoying lol
Pharmacist said to bathe with cool boiled water and try to apply a warm compress a few times a day. If it doesn't clear in a few days then call the gp. They should fit you in for a baby.
