I was told at least 37 weeks. Nipple stimulation can trigger contractions to start, which could lead to early labor or put too much stress on fetus. If you collect it without suction that’s best, but honestly you won’t need much colostrum for baby. Mine only ate it for the first two days of life, then my milk came in 🤷‍♀️. I actually bought a colostrum collecting kit and never got to use it it’s completely unopened lmao
