However you feel I’m sure you have your reasons for doing so, so I wouldn’t beat yourself up. Sorry you have a tricky relationship, that must be really hard. Hope you are able to focus on you and your pregnancy ❤️
I do appreciate how you might be feeling. Such an exciting time for you and it feels like your sister has come along with her news and stole a lot of your thunder! However, if it makes you feel even the slightest bit better, just remember it’s not something she could have deliberately planned. She can’t ensure she’s pregnant at the same time as you just to make it about her, Mother Nature decides if and when we all get pregnant! ☺️ I know you say you don’t have a great relationship but if it were me, I’d be going out my way to make it about the both of us now and experiencing it together! 🙂
It’s not wrong to want some things in your life to be just about you, however you don’t have to allow her to make this about her. Make any key milestones etc in your pregnancy separate - ie, don’t take her to any appointments, do baby shopping with your partner/friends/parents in isolation, find out your gender in whatever intimate way you want etc - then things where you have to include her hopefully won’t be as frustrating because you’ve had your own memories with other people too!
I think you might be looking at it in the wrong way. Personally I think what a blessing to be able to experience this with your sister! You’re both about to embark on the most life changing, crazy stressful yet incredible journey and how amazing that you get to be there for each other through it all. Your little ones will grow up to be besties too!
