@Abby diarrhea hasn’t been part of her sickness (yet anyway). She’s got a bad chest cold and fever
It definitely sounds like you are getting close! You should make sure that gush wasn’t your water breaking and then babies head blocking it I recommend laying on your left side for 20 minutes then standing to see if there is a trickle when you stand and also sitting on the toilet and holding toilet paper under your vagina and coughing to see if you get a trickle
@Laurel I didn’t even realize that could happen! I’ve had extra discharge for a week or so now but haven’t felt it come out like that but I’ve also been to the bathroom since and haven’t noticed a lot of discharge but now I’m getting bad body aches
@Katie oh if you are getting body aches check your temperature! If your water breaks you are at higher risk for infection. With my first I was only having Braxton hicks but my water broke and it was a little fish and no more leaking but I started to just not feel good so I went in and had them check and it was my water so I had to be on an antibiotic and get pitocin to start contractions.
We are going in because I’m still leaking and have an urge to go to the bathroom and can’t go
How did it go. Vommitting, diarrhea and a fever are my signs of labour 😩
@Catherine unfortunately I went home as my contractions aren’t strong or regular. I’m only about 0.5 centimeters dilated but they can feel babies head
Aww, Your body is definitely getting ready! Hoping for smooth sailing for you when it happens. You got practice now 🤭 you got this! 🫶🏾
Eep definitely sounds like somethinggggg is preparing to happen! 🙏🏻 Now how “soon” is all relative haha soon could mean 2 weeks away.. but hey, sounds like your body is def prepping! 😁 (You mentioned sick toddler - do you think the diarrhea could have anything to do with that?) But it’s also totally normal to happen in prep for labor too though, so could be either!
