Heart palpitations, they can be normal in pregnancy cos of extra blood in your body but can also be if your iron is low x
I get them when I’m not pregnant when my iron is low and I’ve had them a few times in pregnancy too. I take an extra iron tablet as well as my usual pregnancy tablets and that tends to help.
Thanks ladies xx
Yess I got when my iron was too low xx
Yess! Been struggling for a couple of weeks with these. My iron was slightly low on blood test but midwife said it tends its classed as in range for pregnancy as they alter what “normal” rates are x
Yeah I've had this, and it feels so heavy when I lay on my side, like I need to take a huge breath in. I do have low iron too. I mentioned it at last midwife appointment who said it might be because my diaphragm is being pushed up against my heart when I'm lying down on my side but that if I get this heavy feeling when I'm sat up and not lying on my side then she advised to go into A&E to get checked. Might be worth a chat with your midwife if it's all the time and how describe what it feels like xx
I was literally googling ‘random anxiety pregnancy’ earlier. So yeah I’m definitely getting this and I know there’s no actual reason! Reassuring to hear I’m not the only one ❤️ I’m at 33 weeks
