Thrush pessary
Hey just looking for advice, I was prescribed 6 pessaries for treatment of thrush and I have used the the last 3 nights no problem. My worry now comes from reading that the applicator shouldn't be used in pregnancy but I didn't know this and have used it 3 times. Should I be concerned about this or speak to my midwife? I'm currently 29 weeks if that makes a difference. Thanks for any advice

I used a pessary with an applicator during this pregnancy. I went to triage because it was just so uncomfortable and they gave me a pessary with an applicator. The midwife assured me it was fine you just have to take your time and be gentle when using it is all
I used it 3 times with the applicator and had no troubles! Hope you feel better soon! Xx

speak to midwife/ doctor. whoever prescribed it should see that your pregnant on files tho. but if you worried just ask xxx
