Youtube kids

Does the block button not work? Ive blocked certain channels and videos from mine and my kids account and yet somehow they still pop up and the video plays 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is there a way around this to actually block the channels from being an option to my child???

My youtube kids is linked to my YouTube app, ive blocked the channels on BOTH accounts but somehow my sons still able to view the videos from the channels i block

@Sarah i did it thank you!! Idk why i had to do all this and select which content i’m happy for him to watch. Me blocking channels and videos should have done this for me but it seems to have done what i was hoping for. Lets see when he next uses it if he’s able to somehow find videos that ive removed access to

Yes i had the same issue, apparently blocking doesn't work because it would still show the same video and my toddler was able to find it. It was a bit of work initially but we set up yt kids with approved content only and it's great! We started with limiting the videos we didn't want and add some that we wanted our toddler to eventually watch. Slowly she's started showing interest in prefferd content and we've taken other videos away. Also noticed a big difference in behavior by improving the content she watches
