Are LVLs okay?
Hello everyone! We’re currently planning a baby moon towards the end of my second trimester and I’m wondering whether it would be okay to get an LVL + brow tint before we go? 😂
Advice online seems quite unclear and I feel silly calling the midwife about such a minor question!

@Amy Ah that makes sense! I thought maybe it would be okay with a patch test, but that makes a lot of sense if you can’t take the medication. Thank you 😊
I was able to have an LVL but I did have another patch test as hormones can change during pregnancy. I wouldn’t do it again as I was so uncomfortable laid down for so long & also it didn’t last very long which is common during pregnancy because of the hormone change. I’ve had my eyebrows tinted every 3 weeks through both of my pregnancies and no problems x
Coming from a beautician you’re able to have LVL as long as you have an up to date patch test including the tint and if you were to have to done I could make sure your are in a reclining chair as it’s a long process. Xx

Lots of places won’t do an LVL when pregnant ! I’ve tried a few places they all state guidance is they can’t do it if you’re pregnant more to do with if you have a reaction the medication for it isn’t recommended with pregnancy ! I have mine done all the time as soon as I was pregnant my beauty salon refused to do it !
