Is baby swing or bouncer essential?

With my 1st she loved her swing my second didn’t really go in it but we’ve brought 1 for this little bubba and we’ve got a play gym too x
We found a bouncer essential with our first. Didn’t buy one before he was born but got one on FB marketplace by like day 3 😂. Just needed somewhere safe to put him down so we could pee / eat etc. that wasn’t the floor
What play gyms is everyone going for? There are SO many options, I’m having a hard time deciding!

We bought a used baby bjorn off Facebook after multiple friends recommended them.
I am looking at the maxi cosi bouncer this time, folds flat, several recline settings and the cover can be easily taken off to wash (found it out the hard way last time that a “wipe clean” fabric doesn’t cut it for blow outs 🫣🤣 also I am not fussed on toys being on it , they were rarely clipped on last time ! https://amzn.eu/d/fd6BMS2

We had a second hand baby bjoern for our first and found it very useful.
We used our bouncer constantly! Our first when he was little hated lying down and wanted to be up looking at everything 😄 we are getting a new one as the other was damaged in a house move, going for one that can be stored flat this time as it does take up space when not used!
