Yes 100% worth it . I was dubious at first but we use instead of a rug now - have 2 under 2
@Marie @Sophia yeah, got hardwood floor too. Would you say they will use it until 7 years old at the maximum? We are one and done but thought if he will be using it for years then it's okay.
We have totter and tumble mat and use it daily for my three year old and now baby. Get the right pattern and you can leave it out all the time x
Also a huge fan of our Totter and Tumble. We leave it down, as if you would leave down a rug, so it's used constantly. Again, we have hard wood floors though. Ours was second hand from Marketplace.
My little one is only 7.5 months but we love our totter and tumble mat. It’s soft but firm, easy to clean, and I love that it’s reversible. It literally looks like a rug too which I love. Been using it since birth and it’s still like new. I can see my daughter using it for at least a few years.
I have one and I really like it, but I was going to replace my rug anyway because it was old and looked terrible. The T&T mat is surprisingly stylish and feels nice underfoot. I love being able to just pop my boy down there with his toys and know that he is safe. It also makes a pretty good yoga mat. I figure we’ll probably use it for a few years and then once he’s no longer playing on the floor, we’ll get something else.
We have one for 2 years now and will keep using it until it's destroyed. It is great quality and very stylish, not to mention that it is easy to clean. Also its double sided so you can switch it up if you wish
They won’t need a playmat for long really, I just got something cheap and cheerful from Argos
@Eunice we have replaced the rug in our living room with one, and as long as the kids are playing on the floor, ie lego, construction or anything like that, it's great.
We have one and my 5 years old and 3 years old still play on it. But we have hard wood floor, might be different if you have carpets.
