YMCA does a an initial water exposure class at 4 months to 1 year it's not really swimming but it's getting a child comfy with being in water with a parent. I'm probably going to try it.

We started lessons when my boy was 13 weeks, I don’t think there’s a “right age” it’s whenever you feel comfortable taking them and how much they enjoy the water x

We did ISR with my youngest starting at 6 months

Depends on the centre. Some are 3m, 4m or 6m here I took my baby swimming at 3m though we went to a caravan park w a pool

My little boy started at 4 months x

5 months for us!

My babies are 15 months and 1 month. Wondering when we can start

We started at like 10 months I think. Search the class options in your area and see what age they start offering classes for.

We started at 5 months. Some of the swim schools in Australia offer free swimming lessons up to 6 months so it's a good time to check it out and see if you are ready to start.

Depends on the swimming pool temperature. But you can go as early as 6wk if pool is warm enough. We started at 6m.

We started age 4. A swimming teacher said they don’t really learn before then. I think before that it’s more about gaining confidence.

We started at 8 weeks, there’s no right or wrong age :)

Started both my eldest and my newborn at 12 weeks - my eldest is now 2.5 and loves the water
