Frustration 🫤

Does anyone elses' LO hate being in a stroller/car seat to the point where you have to either go home or carry them? Everything is go out my daughter screams and crys till I just give up and go home she is 7 months and has been like this since she was a newborn.... I feel trapped in my house. I have loosened straps, provided toys, made sure she is wearing comfy and warm clothes ... nothing works and I'm starting to feel so angry and frustrated.

Snacks? Favorite music? Does she have a mirror you can see her/she can see you? All things that helped us

Not sure if you are doing this already but we started w very short 7 mins trips and always did it from when bubs was 6 weeks to some appoinments, we made sure bubs had a full tummy and with a clean nappy, he used to fall asleep in the car seat. We increased the trips slowly, we sang together ( he loves the happy song) he does use a dummy so that helped soothing whilst in the car. With the pram you can try for bubs to get more used to it by making it a positve thing, try having the pram at home and feeding some meals in it (try fav food first), a rusk may be something to keep bubs entertained for a bit and again do it for a few minutes at a time. I hope it helps

@Kelsey never considered a mirror that is a great idea thank you!! 😊

@Carolina the idea about meal time at home in the stroller is so smart !! Thank you so much

My daughter was like this I found once I turned her stroller around and she could see out instead of facing me she was a lot happier

She is facing out

Hi! My daughter was like this and honestly still is at 18mo’s😥 I’ve tried everything you can imagine, including buying several different styles of prams. Nothing worked. Snacks and toys temporarily helped, but she just doesn’t like being shut in somewhere. I wish I’d accepted this in the beginning, it would have saved me alot of stress!

I mostly avoid the pram where possible, I try to go out and do what i need to do with her in the pram when it’s nap time because she’s too tired to throw a fit 🥱

I also tried printing out a picture of my face and taping it in the car where my kid could see. It worked pretty well for a while.
