Oranges

Do you eat the white stringy stuff on oranges? I don’t but my husband does and think it’s a waste of time to take them off but they’re gross to me

Not tosteal your thread, but on topic Bonus question.... Who can tell me what an orange tastes like? (I'm deadly allergic like a peanut allergy, even to the smell)

@Katherine they’re sweet and juicy. Very strong flavor. They’re very slightly tart, some more than others. I only like cuties/ mandarin oranges. They’re even more juicy. Also very citrusy. It’s like a pop of flavor as soon as you bite down

it’s not the taste it’s the texture i have an issue with

I saw something on facebook the other day that said if you rinse the segments under hot water, the pith comes off easily (rinse under cold after if you don’t like warm orange). I’ve not tried it but people in the comments were loving this bit of info 😂

I absolutely despise it! Takes me like an hour to eat an orange because of how long it takes to peel it all off 😂 just not worth it so I don’t eat them

@Katrina omg same!! That’s why I like the little oranges 😂

@Nikki-Lee genius!!! I’m trying that

My husband eats the fucking peel 😭

@Victoria~ YOURE LYING WHAT 😭😭

@Victoria~ my toddler loves the peel more than the orange itself 😭😭

@Alihe bites into them as if they’re apples. First time I saw it I was like wtf that’s not an apple????

@🩷 Patience 🩷 okay that’s pretty cute tho

The white part is actually good for you. ..
