Positive test after miscarriage

I would speak to your early pregnancy unit? Hopefully it’s a new pregnancy but it could also be that there’s still some remaining tissue from the last pregnancy. I’ve got everything crossed for you 🤞🏼♥️

Did you test negative after your miscarriage? I had a miscarriage with a negative test at the beginning of April, positive test with our rainbow baby at the beginning of May. It absolutely could be a new pregnancy, but as above, it could be (depending on how far along you were) retained tissue from your previous unsuccessful pregnancy.

I had a miscarriage on 10th Feb and my tests are way lighter than this for my new pregnancy. After my miscarriage my tests were still really dark for a week x I only knew mines was a new pregnancy because I had tested until I was negative x

How far along were you when you had your miscarriage? Did you get negative test after texting positive first time around? I had a miscarriage in October 23 and my tests were fainter and fainter until I started testing negative. I also did the blood work so my number was below 5

it depends if you tested negative after it, when i had my abortion, there’s a special test called termination pregnancy test which confirms you’re not pregnant 3 weeks later, and was given this as normal tests after one would be sensitive, but at the same time, if the lines darker then that’s definitely more HCG , this looks like about 4 weeks to me if that adds up for you x

Thank you all for your messages. I went to my EPU last night and had a blood test. They have confirmed that this is a new pregnancy and will be re doing the bloods in 48hrs then hopefully an early scan!
