First trimester nausea

Hi mamas, I’m wondering what you all did to get over first trimester nausea. I’m currently 6 weeks and have been basically bedridden for the past week, unable to do or eat much. Also, how long did this last for you? It’s been nonstop for me and I’m exhausted.

this was me at 6 weeks and i’m at 9 and a half now and it has majorly subsided. it will get better!!

I had it till 2nd trimester but it does get better and the doctor can prescribe medication as well to keep it manageable. I found lots of small meals/snacks as well as preggy pops from Amazon helped.

As hard as it feels you need to try eating small amounts every couple hours. Put some crackers by your bed and have a few the moment you wake up. Small amounts of food consistently will help your blood sugar from going up and down which is was worsens the nausea. I was nauseous for like 20 weeks of my pregnancy and it was hell but always worse when I wouldn’t eat. Make sure you’re having your prenatal vitamin every day because it will really help you & baby get the nutrients you’re not getting from food right now. Lastly, you’re in survival mode right now so focus less on trying to eat perfectly healthy and eat whatever you can stomach

suffered from hg my ENTIRE pregnancy, i HIGHLY recommend vitamin b6 it SAVED ME

Taking chewy ginger candy in between meals helped me. And also drinking coconut water (100% natural, no sugar added).

Had it until second trimester and it returned in my third trimester. Was on medication 4 times a day and ate small meals while taking small sips of water throughout the day
