TW. D&C vs Medicine after miscarriage

I unfortunately had another miscarriage I was supposed to be 12wks but baby only measures 8-9wks. With my other one it happened naturally so I don’t know which option to choose. With medicine I’m worried I won’t be able to mentally handle it and for procedure I’m worried about possible scarring. Any advice?

I had the surgery 16 years ago and it was very quick. I woke up from the anaesthetic groggy but was able to go home a couple hours later. Then I don't remember there being too much bleeding or pain after. I'd hate to go through the process of natural miscarriage if I could avoid it. X

Is there a reason why you can't go naturally again? I've had 2 that I went naturally with, both had rainbow babies immediately after 🫂 I'm really sorry that you're going through this❤️

So sorry to hear, I had my miscarriage in June and I opted for the pill as I had passed most of it naturally already but my levels weren’t dropping fast enough, it was definitely hard but I preferred it over the procedure, it did come with a plan b that if the medication didn’t work I would have to do the procedure. For me it was the opposite I couldn’t mentally handle the procedure so I wanted to avoid that
