Anyone have labor fear?

I’m 31 weeks with my third, (1 miscarriage, 1 stillbirth and currently pregnant) I gave birth at 35 weeks to my second, and I’m Genuinly so scared to do it again, always had a massive fear or giving birth and labor and I’m constantly having panic moments over it if anything feels even slightly different, anyone else got this worry? If so please comment or dm me (most likely to see comments)

I can recommend a great charity called Ellie's Gift, they supported me after my son was born still and have a group called Ellie's Rainbow, they share relaxation tracks for pregnancy after loss. These really helped me x https://www.facebook.com/groups/1703250970441554/?ref=share

I’m so sorry for what you’ve gone through ❤️ it sounds like you may be experiencing tokophobia which is an intense fear of giving birth, always reach out for help and support from services if you feel able to x

@Alice who would I talk to

@Jay there should be a perinatal mental health team local to your area who accept referrals from your GP or midwife. They should be able to support you in the rest of your pregnancy leading up to birth and postnatally! Sometimes they are able to fast track seeing you if they suspect tokophobia, I work in perinatal mental health myself and from experience they can complete a psychological birth plan to help you ❤️

Feel free to drop me a message if you’d like any support :)

@Alice my midwife is shit tbh she hasn’t even checked for gestational diabetes and I’m 34 weeks
