Welcome to the group , I’ll be having my boy in May between 35 and 37 weeks I’m due on the 6th of June I had my last baby at 36 weeks x
Thank you!! Oh congratulations! I thought just in case might be worth joining this one too! 😅 x
My due date given by the NHS is the 4th of July but a few private scans I have had have said he is measuring about 2 weeks bigger than what my due date is - when did you find out you may need to be induced? :) x
My midwife told me at my 16 week appointment, I've got growth scans booked in and these were booked when I was 12 weeks due to a slightly higher BMI, she said if he is measuring big at my 38 week scan they want to induce me x
My due date is also 4th July! 🩵
I have a feeling i’m going to be told the same at this next midwife appointment 😅 i’ve got a very long boy the sonographer kept saying!! x
Yeah! My private gender scan the sonographer looked at my partner and said are you 6ft he said yeah, because he had just measured the baby's legs😅 x
My 1st baby was supposed to be big (over 5kg) 100% percentile. I was told c-section (which I refused) or induction at 37 weeks. My midwife pushed back and I decided to starts sweeps at 38 weeks as doctors were scarying me with shoulder distortia. In the end my daughter arrived at 39+2 (induced) but “only weighed” 3.7kg which is considered normal. Don’t let them scare you in inducing you early without reading on the risks. Good luck.
@Laure I have taken it with a pinch of salt I really have!! As I would love to go full term, and I know they can get measurements and weight wrong too! I will refuse a induction for as long as I can xx
👋👋 hello, I'm the opposite end of the chart, due beginning of June but because I have small babies they've said I will be early again so might have to join the May group 🙈
