First trimester weight gain

Yeah I started at 165 (I’m 6 feet tall) and I’m 174.8 this morning at 14 weeks. I’m not too worried about it, I’m active and eat healthy.
i actually had to go to the ER for how much i was vomiting in my first trimester but somehow i put on 6-7 lbs a week, had zero appetite, couldn’t keep anything down(not even my own saliva) at all but still gained the weight. the female body is something magical that’s for sure 🤣
I didn't gain weight until second trimester but was bloated from week 6 Looked like I was 12 weeks 😅
I did! I gained about 35 pounds total my whole pregnancy with about eight of those being in the first six weeks
I gained around 40lbs in the first trimester alone, and I had HG due to which I could only stomach a couple bites of food a day.
I gained 15 lbs in the first trimester (1/2 of the total pregnancy weight) & 3 months pp I’m still 16 lbs over my usual weight— but I ate a lot then bc I was so nauseous I couldn’t keep down water if I hadn’t eaten substantially in the last 3-4 hrs basically of if I wasn’t quite full .. if you tend to gain water weight around period it’s probably just your body reacting to the increase progesterone in pregnancy and is just water instead of the actual extra fat I put on 🥲
@Jenn @Aggs it’s insane to me that even when you have HG you gain in the first trimester! holy f. lol. also, wow I’m really glad you guys survived that! HG is no joke
I'm 11 weeks and the bloat was real serious the first few weeks I was like I cannot be showing this early but I've only gained 3 lbs so far. I'm showing now and I can just imagine further into this second pregnancy how big I'll be. I only gain 25 lbs with my son and I started at 204lbs.
