Feeling mixed emotions

Hello I am exactly 39 weeks today, my baby measuring big. I have planned c section with the first one due to breech. Now I would like to go into spontaneous labour and I also feel kind of scared and sad :)) I am also extremely swollen like my entire body and face, so everytime I pass by mirror I get scared “ who is this shrek “ 😃

Hello! Same with me, now 40+4 .. just want little one in my arms now 😑

Hi, same here! Second time mummy but was induced with my first at 38 +3. Was so nervous about going into labour naturally but had my little boy yesterday at 40 + 3 and it went really smoothly, I don’t know why I was so worried. It was almost the same but instead of the drip calling the shots it’s the baby😂 hang in there mumma, you’ve done it before your body will definitely remember what to do when baby is ready!

I was almost in the same boat recently. Was induced the first time and had the second induction scheduled for 41w +2days. But luckily my natural labor started at 41 weeks and it was easy and painless( I had an epidural though😃). With the first induction even the epidural did not help, the pain was unbearable. So I was very anxious about being induced again, was under a lot of pressure and stress. But thanks to my and my husband’s prayers, I ended up having a natural labor and it was like a walk in the park😊I also hired a doula and a photographer for my second delivery and let me tell you, I am smiling on almost all of the pictures 😍I am sure you’ll handle this delivery very well! I was induced with my first too. I didn’t feel much with the epidural. But, this time, I labored at home. I tried to wait until the five minutes for 1 minute long for at least one hour the doctor told me I’d be at 5cm when I went to hospital but I was 8cm when I went. Honestly pain management is so much more comfortable at home. I’m glad I waited but I kinda waited too long. By the time I was at the hospital ready to get epidural, I couldn’t sit still from the pain. So I had a natural labor. I had my March baby in 2 hours :)

I'm still waiting for natural labour to kick in! I'm 41 weeks today with an induction booked for Thursday xx
