Yes!! I was on watch for this, but it moved by my 20 week ultrasound and all was good!
I had partial placenta previa. By my 12 week appointment mine had already moved. It finalized in a “normal” position for the rest of my pregnancy. I wouldn’t stress 😊
I had the same, eventually it moved but they decided there was marginal cord insertion, then they thought it was resolved. It's scary, but the upside was I got to see my baby a lot more often than most as they kept an eye on her development. I was able to keep walking as exercise, and mostly had a normal pregnancy with extra exams. At birth it was indeed marginal cord insertion. I gave birth vaginally 3 weeks early, on my baby's decision (haha). I needed to be in a particular position to keep her heart rate stable, but other than that it was a normal birth. My daughter had excellent apgar. We stayed a little longer at the hospital so that she could get treatment for jaundice. My daughter has exotropia, a condition where her eyes don't always line up. They aren't sure if it's genetic or perhaps a combination of early birth and umbilical cord issues. She's been receiving treatment and having some improvement, and honestly - if a rogue eyeball is the price then no problem. She's a wonderful little girl.
I did, it moved by my 20 week scan.
@Bri when were you diagnosed with it? Also I have to start taking baby aspirin at 13 weeks because I had preeclampsia in my last pregnancy. Your doctor told you not to take it?
@Hannah my doctor told me not to take it as it would make my blood platelets less sticky decreasing the chance of the placenta previa resolving before birth. I was diagnosed with it from the beginning like 10 weeks maybe around then.
I had that as well don’t worry usually moves on its own
@Bri dang! Good to know
@Hannah definitely talk with your doctor, I also had to take baby aspirin for preeclampsia. They'll help assess what the greater risk is based on your labs
@Sarah got it. Thank you so much
Yes just make sure you’re not taking baby aspirin. Mine moved at about 37 weeks. I was put on pelvic rest as well and followed it for the most part
