Anyone else just completely struggling??

After a generally okay pregnancy I’m now finding it really hard 😭 I’m 34 weeks today and can’t imagine another 6 weeks of this! I’m so uncomfortable in every position, the heartburn is ridiculous, I’m starting to get short of breath and everything just feels so difficult 😭 I use to be someone that lovedddd to sleep and slept so well and now I can’t even do that 😩 I’m not really after a solution more just a moan and wondering if anyone else feels the same? I also have 2 weeks left of work and wondering how on earth I’ll make it through 🥲😅 Still very very grateful to be pregnant and I can’t wait to be a mummy but oh my the third trimester is HARD!

I feel the exact same! Loved sleeping now I can’t get to sleep everything is just so uncomfortable. On top of that I have really bad itching that keeps me up at night as well😩. Hopefully once baby is here we’ll feel better, they say newborn sleep is better than pregnancy sleep 😅

Completely the same as you feeling it now. The shortness of breath is making it hard to get anything done and low iron doesn't help even though I'm on tablets 😔

@Rupi Omg I have the itching too! I called the midwives yesterday as I was a bit concerned about it and they’ve done a blood test to check bile levels/liver function, just waiting to hear back! I’ve also heard from a couple of friends who are new mums (August and November 2024 babies) that both say newborn tired is way easier than pregnancy tired and that having a baby in general is a lot easier and more rewarding than the third trimester 🤞🏻😂

@Emma Oh god low iron must be a struggle 😭 We really are all going through it aren’t we 🥲

They did my bloods and found some levels were raised I’ve been prescribed with E45 cream and antihistamines! If I’m honest the tablets just put me to sleep they make you very drowsy but the cream isn’t much help. The best thing I’ve found is to put your hand or feet in cold water that really cools it down 🙌🏽 Well at least we have that to look forward to 😅

It wouldn't have been so bad if they'd picked it up sooner I had a really rough few weeks and just assumed it was normal. It will all be worth it when they're here 🥰

I'm the same. Starting to struggle so much... And I've got just shy 6 weeks of work left (working until my due date)! Sadly, it really doesn't get better until baby gets here. Then it's a whole different struggle 😉

i’m in the same boat! 35wks tomorrow and i’m absolutely shattered, struggled to carry my basket round tesco the other day and had to put it down to pretend i was searching the shelves… just to catch my breath🥴😂

@Rupi Aqueous cream with menthol is the best that helps me with the itching from someone who has literally tried it all 😂

What are you taking for the heartburn? I wrote to my GP a couple days ago asking for Omeprazole and I had the first tablet yesterday and it's already helped. Would definitely recommend.

@Holly I will definitely be trying that then! Can you just buy it or do you have to get it prescribed? 😇

@Rupi nope, just over the counter. Super cheap in savers

Same same same. I forgot how difficult the last trimester is but the reliefffff when that baby is out is like no other x

@Holly thank you! I’ll be buying that today 😅

Definitely speak to your midwife about the heartburn as they can give you omeprazole which is perfectly safe for you and baby and it is amazing! I’ve taken it for both pregnancies from about 30 weeks as the heartburn was so bad I was up being sick in the night
