Have any family members got a big enough garden they are willing to use for a few hours? I'm in the same predicament, luckily I had the aunties with big gardens offer 🙏 if not it would have been a teddy bears picnic at the local park x
We did some lovely Picknick parties for my 3yo who’s also an August baby. Last one was in a park which also has catering and a splash pool, so we just brought some snacks, cake and toys/ balloons. Was a great day. But the first bday is really more for you than them, if that makes sense… In the future I might hire a room in a community type place that already has softplay or do a swimming party or party at a softplay place. That way you don’t have to bring lots of stuff…
I’m planning to do a tea party at my grans house as she has a lovely garden. He’s also an August baby so hopefully weather will be nice then have a picnic and some music etc for the babies to dance too x

We’re hoping to do more of a picnic type “party” at a local park as long as the weather is okay, but we’ve got a small gazebo we can use too x
