Do you have a waterbottle? I’ve found my daughter drinks the most water when she’s drinking it it of mine
@Cotswoldmama yes she likes to drink out of mine sometimes so always have that to hand and my husbands!! My father in law had an expensive chilly water bottle the other day and she was drinking out of that and nearly bought her one in that desperate!! 😂
@Heather Bell yes same situation here! I guess they need the drink to wash the food down! I’ve got a call with the doctors next week as they prescribed the meds to go in her drink but she won’t drink 😂🙈
My baby sounds like she’s on the same meds, is it sashays? I have to mix them in water and then poor it into her milk because if not I have no chance of her drinking it in the water. I also mix it with yogurt sometimes. Basically anything I can get down her 😂
Try to spoonfeed her, my son is far more likely to accept water with a spoon 🤦🏻♀️
MCT oil (refined coconut oil) melt dark chocolate and mix in the oil. Pour into ice cube tray and set in the fridge then pop one out to give her per day until she poops. The oil is a healthy and natural way to combat constipation in babies. For a full recipe search ‘poop chocolates for toddlers MCT oil’
Find a water bottle she might like and leave bottle in easy reach so she can come to it as she pleases. Have you also tried squeezing some fresh orange juice into water for a bit of flavour( I heard this also helps with constipation) or some vitamins?
Would you consider fresh apple juice? I usually give my little boy a carton of apple juice, I put it in his water bottle, it fills around a quarter of the bottle and I too up with water. It encourages him to drink and the apple juice also helps with constipation xx
My daughter refused water for AGES and got super constipated, to the point it got compacted and she had to have an enema in A&E 😵💫 in the meantime until she started drinking, we found prune puree was good, we also did give her some laxative (from doc) to stop it getting to bad again. One thing we swore by was optibac drops, you can get them in most shops! They helped so much
My baby refused to drink hardly any water for a while but I found she drinks the most water when she’s eating at tea time. My daughter suffers massively with constipation to the point she is on medication every day but is slowly starting to drink more water but will only drink it out of one bottle 😂
