I just brought mine to my appointment last week.
I’m 32 weeks and have no birth plan SEND HELP
Here is the free resource I used! I’m also taking her birth classes but that costs. https://www.mommylabornurse.com/birth-prep-packs?_gl=1*qycr7b*_gcl_au*MTExODg1MzM1NS4xNzQxMzA3MTcy*_ga*OTkyNDU1OTcxLjE3NDEzMDcxNzE.*_ga_W9RNFSTRW3*MTc0MzI5Mjg1MC4yLjEuMTc0MzI5Mjg5Ny4wLjAuMA..
My OB hasn’t gone over it. I was just told to give it to the hospital when I show up. If you’re not induced in my town, I don’t think it’s super likely your OB delivers
With my first it was at the 36 weeks appointment
I'm 34 weeks, my OB hasn't gone over it yet. I ended up taking a birthing class in person with my partner and would highly recommend going this route. There should be resources online as well. Some hospitals also offer them and in addition, I would make sure to sign up for a tour of your hospital before giving birth. Also, make sure to also check out your own insurance companies some offer lactation consultants for free.
35 weeks and they just gave me the hospital paperwork with a birth plan sheet so I’ll take it back for my 37 week appointment
@Ali That’s what I did with my first, and the nurse just looked at it like, “Cute.” 😂 This time I’m making sure to go over it with my OB.
@Selena fair. My doula worked with the hospital to create her birth plan template and I pretty much just kept everything the same (also 90% of what’s on it is already hospital policy where I live), so I’m also not worried about that piece. I’ll probably still give a copy to my doctor, and then the hospital when I preregister, and of course I’ll bring it in my suit case.
That Should’ve Been Happened
