Not a March 2025 mama I’m due in June but this came up in my feed! First off congratulations! He is adorable🥰🩵 Second you are amazing! 🙌🏻 Would love to hear how you got through labor and contractions without pain meds I am preparing for an unmedicated birth as well my last I made it to 8cm I really want to get all the way this time
@Adriana i was told i couldn’t get the IV meds after i made it to 8cm so since i dilated so fast i didn’t even have the choice lol but i just kept telling myself i don’t need the medication that i just need to focus on pushing and he’ll be out before i know it. “just get it over with and push hard” was replying in my head lol. definitely took a lot of pep talk to myself bc i was definitely considering that epidural but i kept telling myself you got this and ppl do it alll the time!!! definitely gotta be head strong through it but you definitely can do it!!! and it’s soooo worth it in the end. also once i got to pushing the more i pushed the less the contractions hurt so yes you’ll be in pain just remember pushing relives the pain quit a bit
