What’s everyone doing

I read books, dance, sing, lay on the bed and show him how toys work, lay on a different bed and show him how other toys work, put him in the bouncer and hand him different things to put in his mouth till he gets sick of it, put him on his tummy in different parts of the house, put him on his back in other parts of the house or yard, go for walks outside or at the shopping centre in the pram or forward facing in the carrier, blow raspberries on his belly and cheeks, sit him up in my lap and show him my hands, toys, books, chase the dogs, practice rolling on the floor, play in the blow up pool or bath. On repeat for 4.5 months so far 😆 Any ideas? Im open to more activities 🤣🤣

Eheheheh we do all of that aha I just think sometimes am I doing enough it’s heard my little girl is nearly 7 months ahaah

Plus when I try to read to her she likes to turn the page which ends up her getting frustrated because I’m trying to read before she turned the page 😂

Do u do any screen time ?

Go to a playgroup, I was nervous at first but it’s so nice to get out and see other mum’s and baby’s, everyone’s always so lovely x

I know I need to ahah I just don’t no which one to pick there are so many

I go to a few play groups and catch up with friends for coffee too. I try to get out once a day. I don’t do screen time specifically for my son but i have the TV on while I’m cooking and he sits on the bench and watches me and glances at the TV too.

@Elice it’s worth trying different ones as you may find some you like more than others. They are great to chat to other mums though and have a hot drink/chill with different toys for your baby to play with!

I'm not sure about your area but some of the best play groups we have been to are church play groups, generally for under 5s and maybe suited for toddlers but often mums with their babies come in too so they can meet new people. I find church settings are way less judgemental, a right mixture of characters, cheap and cheerful and always leave in a good mood knowing my son has played with other kids (he doesn't go to nursery) and Ive had some adult conversation.
