Maternity allowance.
Anyone else’s maternity allowance not come through? I pretty much rely on that payment and it’s not come in so now I’m slightly panicking. I’ve called the number 3 times and no one’s answering even after half an hour. I’ve tried allsorts of other numbers and nothing seems to be working😞

@megs My 39 weeks are up because apparently my first payment (30weeks ago) was backdated even though it was only £300 and the normal payments were £200 anyway I don’t think it’s correct but not worth arguing🥲🥲x
@Caitlin was the 200 pound a monthly or weekly payment just out of curiosity as I have applied for maternity allowance x
@Lydia it was bi weekly (every 2 weeks) but i got the lowest amount as I said I was going to return to work after my maternity leave x

0800 169 0283 This is the number I rang, I rang 4 weeks + 1 day after receiving the text saying they’d got my forms. I was on the phone 40 minutes, had to keep pressing 1’s and 2’s and grinning and bearing them trying to not answer then I was on hold for a good 20/25 mins. Women on phone was amazing, sorted it all out for me, as I was supposed to have received a letter and never did.
