I went to the GP they dismissed me as “pretty normal for first few weeks of life” seems to be a struggle to get anyone to listen when you are a FTM! ☹️
looks like a heat rash, my first hot this when we were on holiday x
It very well could be heat rash but it also sounds very similar to CMPA, if it continues don’t let them dismiss you as a FTM! They can prescribe a hypoallergenic formula, Aptamil Pepti 1 or SMA Althera are common. Join one of the CMPA groups on here they’re very helpful xx
I would say heat rash. My baby had similar and that’s what the GP diagnosed it as xx
I breast feed n it’s something that Ive eaten i think xx
My oldest got a rash like that once from her clothes. I hadn’t washed it before she put it on
I’m from the US and randomly stumbling across this post, but a rash could be a sign of a diary intolerance. Whether you’re breastfeeding or formula feeding, it might be worth getting a second opinion from a lactation consultant (or someone similar) and deciding if a diary free diet/formula will help! As for the trapped gas, look into the Frida Baby Windi. I had to use SO many of those on my girl as a newborn because she was struggling to pass gas or poop on her own as a newborn. She would be up all night just grunting and uncomfortable! Babies has very immature GI systems, but it’s temporary and they will grow out of it! Good luck 🤍
Thanks all for comments. Taken her to see a doctor today, turns out it is CMPA due to all of her symptoms along with the rash and we start a new hypoallergenic formula today. I hope she starts to feel better. Just want to mention to all mumas FTM or not please always trust your gut! Don’t let health professionals gaslight you down the “it’s normal” “it’s just colic” path. Yes it’s normal for babies to cry and be a bit upset in the evenings, but not inconsolable 80% of the day. Appreciate all input xx
I’m so happy for you! Yes to no gaslighting 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 I could have written that about my first too, I hope you see improvement soon x
My baby gets eczema and it looks similar to this, is it anywhere else? If you’re concerned I’d ask the gp x
