Hey! Yeah that makes sense. Yeah I've started taking it as soon as I got the letter yesterday so would rather do what I can to make things better 😊 I'm glad everything is going well for you and hope it continues to! Xxx
@Orla that’s exactly what I did, if it’s been recommended by the midwives they’ve recommending we take it for a reason. Thanks lovely 🥰 it won’t be long before she’s here now! I hope everything continues to go ok for you too! It’s only natural to get freaked out when they tell you, you’ve got low Papp-a but it’s so so common. You’re managing it now and that’s all that matters. Xxx
Yeah exactly that's how I saw it 😊 that's so exciting, when is she due? Thank you, we have a private scan next week so hoping to find out the gender and just check in on them🥰 yeah very true, as my husband said there's no point worrying until we have something to worry about! We have a solution to the problem so we will continue what we need to do and hope for the best xxx
She’s due 4th August 🥰! How about your little one? That’s so exciting I bet you can’t wait to find out the gender!! Be prepared to have to jump up and down if the baby is in an awkward position .. baby girl was being very stubborn 😂! Exactly that’s so true, I panicked so much when I was told but the lovely midwife on the phone said it really wasn’t anything to worry about. They have to tell us now when it’s picked up to ensure we take the aspirin to make sure the baby is getting enough nutrients from the placenta. Also, by taking it, it’ll help minimise the chances of developing preeclampsia which is only a good thing! Just keep doing what you’re doing and listening to your body. Everything will work out exactly as it should do 🩷🩷! Xxx
Oh how exciting 😁 their due date is 23rd September! Yeah we're so excited ☺️ hahaha! I never even thought of that! That is so reassuring that they said that on the phone! You're so right and like you say, only a good thing to reduce the chance of preeclampsia. Very true! Good luck 🤞🏻❤️Xx
Hi Lovely! I’m in a very similar situation. I’m currently 22weeks pregnant but I was told at 12weeks I had borderline low levels. It’s unfortunately one of those things that some of us get. Although it’s quite scary to hear at first it is quite common. If the midwife has recommended taking the 150mg of aspirin then I would. I can confirm it’s definitely helped me baby girl is growing perfectly. I’ve got an additional growth scan at 32weeks but apart from that there’s nothing they can do. The baby just may be slightly smaller when he or she is born xx
