Breast cancer screening

Depends on what type of breast cancer it is. My mum had breast cancer but the non genetic type so I won’t be screened. Hope your mum is ok!

Thank you. I'll ask for more info, I know it was stage 1 they caught it at but not sure of the exact type . They caught it early so she had a mastectomy with no treatment needed thankfully 😊😊😊 x

My mam had breast cancer and she was told that because she was over 65 when she was diagnosed, they would not be carrying out any extra screening on me or my sister
