I would not use a Puggle car seat as the quality is not great at all. The infant carrier with a decent fit and quality can last until about 12 ish months depending on size of baby. If you wanted a decent infant carrier, the Cybex lot are decent but if you’re looking to save money in the long term the Avionaut Sky is a highly recommended one in terms of safety and value for money x
I bought this system, haven't had baby yet I should say, but I have a couple of gripes with it already. The wheels are plastic and I can't find rubber replacements, great for shops, etc. Terrible for stones and rocky terrain – I just so happen to love a walk in the woods so I'm worried they won't hold up, although great for omitting punctures. The handle is a little lose by default, not in an unsafe way, but it's a little rickety which is a bit annoying. I also don't like how long the handle is, I feel like baby will be a million miles away which means I'm gonna have to stand over him to check on him. The car seat actually doesn't look too bad, but the age limit might be a problem, thankfully we don't own a car and is more of an addition to help us get him home. On the other hand, fabric is nice, it's cheap and cheerful, has a nice big basket and folds down well. Also convenient being able to attach car seat to pram. All in all, it'll serve us well providing the wheels don't get damaged. Time will tell.
I don't know anything about this particular brand however this was my thinking on the travel system that always comes with this style infant car seat. They are perfect for when baby is small and being carried in and out of the car while sleeping ect. However, you're not going to be wanting to do this for too long anyway once they get big, the combined weight of baby and the car seat... HEAVY! I opted for the travel system as it brought the cost of it all down because I knew I would want to transfer to a 360 seat in the near future which would be another outlay on a carseat. Infant car seats are also usually the only ones really designed for the newborn no matter what the others say and great for taking home from hospital etc. So yeah. Probably going to need two car seats in a short space of time anyway so the travel system brings the whole cost down in the long run!
We used joie versatrax travel system Unfortunately I think all infant car seat only last 12m if compatible with pram if don't want that then you can get car seats that go older like graco turn to me and joie 360 which are newborn to 4 years
I have the Memphis as a double for my twins so not this exact model but we’ve been very happy with it so far! It feels sturdy for the price point and is very light and easy to manoeuvre considering the added weight of a second baby, I can’t imagine that the Monaco is too different! The car seat should last much longer than 6 months, I’ve had a look and it’s the same as ours and will go up to 13kg so will last a fair while, you just need to remove the inserts as they grow and the headrest moves up too.
