@Shannon I have bloods Thursday to make sure my thyroid levels stay down, but I’m gonna call them in the morning and speak to them about the period delay tablet, but it’s annoying as my partners work has changed his shift so he’s now away for my fertile week where as before he was home xx
Interested to see what the answers are as I am in the same boat and travelling down to see him just isn’t sustainable and isnt capturing full fertile window xx
@Laura I know of the period delay tablet, but idk wait a whole 4 months, I know that Ellaone can suppress ovulation but that’s only for 5 days so I wounder if I can take 2 of them lol, but then again it’s not 100% I’ll ovulate when I need to xxx it’s awful when they work away isnt it xx
The period delay tablet has never worked for me when I’ve tried in the past, even had a higher dose prescribed and didn’t stop my period, I feel like my body does it’s own thing 😅
@Jade I was told it’s not good to use the period delay tablet when trying to conceive but deffo ask a gp to see if that’s correct I was told by mine a few years ago now. I hear you with how frustrating it is trying to time it if your partner is away, mines a farmer so hardly home! xx
@Shannon oh really? Well they will need to give me something cause I can’t wait to try for like 2/3 months 😂 did they say why it’s not good to use it? Xx

@Jade I can’t remember but if I was to hazard a guess I’d say it just messes your cycle and hormones up? I can remember it being explained to me like if you were on the pill then off then on. Let me see if I can log in to my engage consult and have a look at my notes from gp xx

@Jade that’s what I was told, I mean I doubt it but you never know and would rather play it safe I think so it doesn’t affect other cycles. Xx
