Kendamil never agreed with my first as it was so rich and upset his stomach, it's quite common for babies on kendamil to have really explosive nappies from what I've heard x
I’d try a different milk like HIPP, my little girl has just been put on CMPA formula but her symptoms were projectile vomiting so hard it was coming through her nose and she was choking, bad bad reflux she can’t be lay flat after feeding because she’ll either choke on vomit or scream, she screamed in her sleep as well as awake because she was in pain, she was constantly congested she actually mouth breaths, her poos were either solid because she was constipated or just straight diahorria with mucus in. My little boy who is 21 months also has a milk allergy!
@Natalya omg that poor baby🥺🥺doesn’t sound like CMPA for my little one then. This sounds awful bless her!
My baby has been diagnosed with CMPA, his symptoms were liquidy bloody poos, not sick or spit up.
@Madi it’s been an eventful 3 weeks! I told them in the maternity ward something was off and they didn’t listen just said she was a sicky baby. Got discharged after 2 days only to end up in A&E 2 hours later because she vomited while laying down choked on it and turned blue😭
Cmpa comes with a few symptoms beside the normal ones like throwing up, not gaining weight refusing feeds. Other symptoms consist of rash/spots, wheezy breathing, congestion, mucusy poo, blood in poos, distended stomach, reflux (silent or regular), pain after a feed. Some babies stomachs just find some formulas like kendamil and aptamil really rich and can cause loser poos and smelly poos. Maybe try another formula and switch gradually to something like cow and gate or sma which aren't as rich and see if that makes a difference? X
