Struggle to get burps out of baby whilst feeding but do get pumps, is that the same thing or should I always keep going until I get a burp?

we have the same… we think he’s too sleepy to be gulping on night feeds, so isn’t swallowing anywhere near as much air as in the day, so no burps . we just let him sit up with us 20m after the feed ends, before settling and seems to be ok that way never get spit up or anything from it xx
We're having the same problem! I don't know how long to leave it until stopping. My baby swallows so much air
@Hannah i asked a HV because i had the same thoughts. they said 2-3 mins if still feeding and 10 at end xx

I don't tend to get any burps in the night from my Son as he usually falls into a deep sleep after feeding so he wakes with a few pumps. He seems to get more in the day though. No solution sorry but experiencing the same!
