Things to do in Lincoln

Hello, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on things to do in Lincoln? I’m a new first time mum, trying to keep busy on maternity leave! The weather is so lovely and I want to make the most of it. I’m also living life on a SMP budget, so trying to reign spending in 🤣 There are obviously walks like Whisby and Hartsholme. Also Daisy Made. Any other suggestions? How did you spend your maternity leave? Thanks!

There are dinosaurs in the city at the moment and over the Easter holidays which are free and you can explore the city From 3-5 May it’s the Lincoln Festival of History so loads of things to see and do for free as well! Boultham Park is lovely and then there’s children’s centres with free activities too and usually free things happening at the library! There are the museums and art gallery that sometimes do special events. If you got to the visitor information centre in Castle Square I think they also have some trails and stuff you can do! A nice walk is from Skellingthorpe to Doddington Hall and get a coffee and cake from the cafe there :) x

Check out city library and children centres for free baby classes, there’s also baby massage lessons at children centres that are free although you have to book them

We took full advantage of the children’s centres! Hykeham do a lovely little session for under 1s on a Wednesday! Little Lincoln do sensory sessions for under 1s. Lullababy do some lovely classes and sessions and free meet ups and walks and things!xxx

The toy library have just announced that children under 1 are free entry!
