First few hours in nursery🥺

Where is the bag from?

My girl did her first session yesterday for 5hrs, it went really well 🥰

@Becky his bag is from My First Years☺️ It's going well so far!! The nursery manager called me 30 minutes later and told me he got a bit teary when I first left, but he soon got distracted by all of the toys and other babies. He had a bit of a play and a crawl around investigating, then he was falling asleep for his morning nap, so he must be content and feel safe enough, which made me feel so much better🫶🏼 good luck with yours next week🥹 x

@Rebecca aww amazing!! Glad it went well for your girl🥰 he's only in for 3 hours today and tomorrow for his trials, but will be in for 5 on Friday which will be the big one!x

Aww this will be us in a few weeks and my little girl has never spent any time with anyone other than me or her dad 🥺 so I’m really really worried. I’m glad that it’s going well for you! X

@Becky he was okay! He fought his morning nap so he'd been awake from 6.30am and I picked him up at 12pm. He was crying his eyes out when I arrived but purely because he was over-tired. But he'd had a play and had a meal with all the other babies, she sent me some pics and called me while he was there to update me, which was nice and reassuring. She said he was fine until about 5 minutes before I arrived. I could tell he was absolutely wiped out as soon as I saw him, but I had a feeling he would fight sleep with it being a new environment. He slept like a log when I brought him home for his nap🥺x

Back again tomorrow for another few hours then the full 5 on Friday🥹x

@Caitlin aww bless him! Yeah that’s what I think about the overtired a well! Bless him so he didn’t cry the whole time he was there ? Aww five full days?

@Becky Apparently not. He got a bit teary eyed when I left but didn't cry as she managed to distract him. He's done really well considering. He's in for 3 hours tomorrow then 5 hours Friday. He'll only be going in 2 days a week for 5 hours each time luckily, as my job can work around it a bit so he'll do 1pm-6pm 2 days a week

@Caitlin aww that’s good how has it gone today? Aww two days for short hours is so lucky!

@Becky I know super lucky! He cried as soon as I handed him over today as he must have recognised this time that I was leaving him🥺. But they updated me on their app a few times throughout the 3 hours to show me what he was up to. They managed to get him down for a little 40min nap this time too which is good🥹
