Need support pls

Just had my first consult where we reviewed my scan and amh results and I was obsolutely slated because of my "very low" amh(7.4). Said that the norm for women my age (34)is 19 and that they could do fresh transfer and hope for the best but that i shouldn't expect anything left for freezing as "there's barely anything there anyway". I'm devastated, please share kind words

I had a much lower AMH and had plenty of eggs at collection. It just took 2 attempts of egg collection to get the right protocol to get a better fertilisation rate.

@Aysha unfortunately because of other health issues I only have a short period to get pregnant before starting another treatment

@Caz I'm afraid I can't. My work pays for ivf expenses but it need to take place in specific clinics

Is there another doctor at the same clinic you could ask for a second opinion? Because the one your spoke to seems to have given up before starting which makes the whole thing pointless. Also your AMH is lower than average but really not THAT low. He’s being very negative.

My AMH is 2.5 and I have a gorgeous baby boy and an embryo in the freezer thanks to IVF 🥰 x
