My first was breast fed and didn't poop for days on end sometimes. My second is formula and has gone two days without pooping. If you're concerned best to contact baby's dr
Totally normal up to a week at that age.
Try gripe water I've use with mine
I know it’s scary, but as long as baby is peeing - it’s normal. It could last up to a week, any paediatrician will confirm. Hope our comments help you to worry less!
@Kirstin i really wanted to try to breast feed him but he wouldnt latch and i was scared to not produce enough milk so i thought combining breask milk and formula would be good since if i don't produce enough milk he would already be used to formula.
Mine didn't poop for three days. Then he pooped so hard during a diaper change it shot across the changing pad, don't wish for poo too hard! For breastfeeding, it is based on demand. If you are combo feeding, you may want to consider pumping as much as you give in formula so you can maintain the supply. So if you breastfeed then give 4oz of formula, pump 4 oz after feeding.
I wouldn't say he's constipated. With formula, it's not unusual that they don't go for a day. How are you finding the combination feeding
