Swings

Does anyone's baby actually like their swings? My older child liked his Fisher price swing for about a week and then didn't care anymore. So for my twins I bought a nice 4moms swing and it seems to do nothing to soothe them. We use our bouncer more and it takes up less space. What has your experience been with swings?

I never had a swing for my first and she did okay with the bouncer. My newest will tolerate the swing but does better in the bouncer. Neither truly soothe her and I have to make the bouncer move for her so it doesn't really help me out.

I got the Graco bouncer swing and he actually is really content in there

Had a mamaroo for my first… we renamed it the pooparoo because we only used it to get her to poop lol worked every time. My 2nd doesn’t really care for the swing either. I bought a used baby bjorn bouncer and she’s content in there for 10-20min, depends on if her older sister is there to entertain her lol

Mine likes his what i do Is give him a toy and he enjoys playing with it while hes in the swing

Mine only likes it on the highest swing setting and usually needs his pacifier too.

Mine loves chillin in both but prefers just a bouncer

We absolutely love our swing. We have a travel swing we take outside. Our 1st swing was used and when it started dying we had to buy a new one before the other one completely died.

My little guy enjoys the swing but not as much as my daughter did. It would almost immediately put her to sleep; he has to really be ready to nap to fall asleep in it, or else he just settles for a little a while in it until he gets annoyed or hungry and wants out. It’s definitely helpful for when I need to have him somewhat entertained while I’m cooking or using the bathroom, etc.
