8 days is a lot, see the GP asap or even go emergency
If it longer than 4 days you should have seeked medical advise/ intervention, especially the fact baby is under 6 weeks old they should be having dirty nappies daily, it could be down to intolerances, which you may have to go on formula or remove dairy from you diet to continue breastfeeding. Definitely call 111 as soon as possible, if you can’t get a gp appointment as they will most likely send you to an out of hours clinic for the next available appointment :)
