The library. The park. The children’s centre. Swimming. Soft play. Maybe write it down each day what you are doing and what time you are leaving. Set timers. The children’s centre might have sessions for mums with anxiety or maybe speak to your hv about a supportive group.
@Tracy with national trust cards do you have to pay for the whole year? Or can it be done for a few months then cancelled?
When he was 3 we basically lived at the skate park we spent all our days there because he loved to scoot on his scooter. He had storytime at the library 3 days a week. Then after we’d go to mall or park or friends/sisters house. There’s so many places to take a 3yr old. Animal farm, aquarium, museum, parks, splash pads on hot days, library, mall, we go to IKEA quite often too I spend 5-6hrs there easily. We’ve got a lake nearby that has a playground and he feeds the ducks. Pool. Beach. So much. There’s a huge nature park near me and a playground there he loves watching the wild bunnies hopping around, and plays w the water at the river crossing
@Nazma we pay for ours monthly so yeah I guess it can be cancelled at any time? 🤷🏻♀️
Would you be comfortable just taking her for a walk or to the park maybe? My daughter is only 19 months and she loves little things like this, I’m sure a 3 year old would enjoy the same kind of thing? If you don’t feel too anxious to do this of course. Or maybe just pop to a local cafe for a drink and a snack? Getting out and about doesn’t have to be expensive. We’ve got national trust cards which we use quite a bit, even a little wander around some that may be local to you could be an option. Week days is very quiet so could be a good time for a nice little wander 🤷🏻♀️ Even 30 minutes of outdoor time is enough so maybe a trip to feed the ducks. Just getting out even if it’s just for a bit may help the guilt you feel for not going out during the day 🙂 I get the anxiety though, I suffered with it at the beginning but honestly just plucking up the courage to get out may even help your anxiety
