We are the same, there are meal/nappy/sleep updates and one photo of what she is doing. I dont expect any more as they are doing updates for every child and I wouldnt like to think they are spending longer than necessary on the tablet, they have so much to do. If there hasnt been one by about 2pm I send a message and ask how shes getting on and they usually send a photo x
We get photos once a week and a written note at the end of each day confirming snacks, lunch, nappies and what he did
I’m jealous of the fact you get one a day! I work in a (quite big) nursery and we only have to do 1 a month! My little boy is also at my nursery in the baby room and I wish I could see daily updates 🥹 the same as you I get all the meals/sleeps and nappies daily but rarely photos and they haven’t even done March’s yet 🥲, but realistically getting our monthly’s done in my preschool room is so HARD as it’s always so hectic, so I do absolutely get it 🙈 getting all of our daily food entries etc on is really hard and time consuming. Most nursery’s have a policy for how many they MUST do, so worth asking ☺️.
I got told on average they try to upload atleast once a week! She goes x3 AM weekly. Sometimes will be zero, other times can be daily.
I don’t even get that in some days. Is so random. I’m moving nurseries anyway as they aren’t very good overall.
We’re in exactly the same position! Constant updates about schedule and then most weeks we get 1 photo, sometimes 2 (he’s in nursery 2 days). Every few weeks we get progress reviews or snapshots which will have additional photos & where he is on the EYFS checklist
Interesting how varied the responses are. I can’t imagine how manic they are and I really don’t expect them to be on the tablets 24/7 uploading updates, but I think one a day would be nice really. Especially as I know one of his days is a ‘quiet’ nursery day with less babies, even then we don’t always get an update. Just miss his little face and like to know he’s enjoying himself. Also when people ask what he’s been up to at nursery I’m never really sure - other than eat and nap dodge!
Co-ask, he started last month and it’s just two pictures so far.
