I’m currently 33 weeks & 4 days. At 32 weeks 2 days I was just 4Ib
I’m in almost the exact same position and have had the same tests/scans as you. At 29 weeks baby was 2lb 8oz and at 32 weeks was 3lb 8oz. I’ve also got my 34 scan coming up next week. I believe that if baby is still dropping down the centiles then they’ll suggest an induction but if baby continues to grow steadily and there are no other issues then it’s ok, just means we’ve got small babies.
At 32 weeks my LG was 3lbs 12oz and I was worried. Had my 34 week scan and she was 4lbs 12oz.
Thank yous so much. Just find that there is no explanation and they aren’t really explaining it well. Ended upset after an appointment due to having no answers but going to see what happens on Tuesday.
Honestly I went home and cried and was so nervous for the last 2 weeks and then turns out she’s fine! Sometimes they don’t quite match the ‘curve’ but they do tend to catch up- best thing to do is not panic! Your LO will most likely be fine whether they induce you early or you go to term! Some babies are just small!
My babies on the opposite extremes, 6lb at 32 weeks, growing over top line on graphs and I constantly have someone telling me it’s a big baby we’re keeping an eye on everything. If they were concerned they genuinely would tell you! This is my second baby (big again, but bigger than first) Are you consultant led with you having growth scans? Please when you see them unload all your concerns as they will tell you. Have you looked at where baby is placing on graphs? As long as not under bottom line they won’t be concerned 🥰
I promise the hospital will tell you if they are concerned about the baby's weight, our baby dropped below 3rd percentile at the 34 week scan (3lb 13oz) and we were immediately seen by a consultant who advised us on next steps. If they haven't said anything yet then no need to stress. If movements are all good then baby is happy ❤️
