The safari park in keswick closed a few months ago indefinitely. I live in north Cumbria.. there is a small zoo in keswick and an aquarium in west Cumbria. There isn't a great deal to do up here unless you like the outdoorsy lifestyle. Brockhole in windermere is a nice day out and in kendal there is a role play style play centre too.

It was dec 31st i think their last day open. After years of huge numbers of animals dying, the council removed their licence. X
If you stay near Windermere there is the Beatrice potter museum as well as plenty of of parks boats to go on ect

There’s a safari park on Keswick that’s decent. A bit small but probably good for kids! They have a small park and cafe there as well. I don’t know any others sorry! Only rock climbing and hiking places haha 😂 Enjoy!
