Blood in urine
Hi ladies, since January every time I went to my midwife appointments, there was a bit of blood in my urine sample, not that you could see it by eyes, only when it was tested it was showing blood, they sent it off for further checks every time and it comes back as normal. I’m 36+3 weeks and I had an appointment this morning, still the same, showing blood and a little bit of protein
Has anyone had this experience?

unsure of the blood, but I’ve had a trace of protein in all my urine sample since my first appointment and they send it off but it always comes back normal. Unsure what causes it but I don’t think you need to worry if they’ve sent it off and all is ok. As long as it isn’t accompanied by high blood pressure and headaches which would indicate pre eclampsia but they should’ve checked that also at your appt xx
Yeah same, I’m not worried. It’s just obviously normal for me 🤷🏻♀️

I haven’t had the protein bit but have traces of blood fairly regularly and every time it’s come back fine. They just ask if I have other symptoms of a UTI but I don’t (and I’m fairly susceptible to them!). They don’t seem worried so think it’s fine! Literally had this my whole pregnancy and I’m 39+2 now.
