Growth scan
When did you all get your first growth scan? I want to compare it to when my doctor told me we will be doing mine (36 weeks but it seems late?)

i believe i had mine around 38 weeks to see if baby was positioned right. it is later on!
I was originally due to have growth scans from 36 weeks due to my first being on the smaller side when born (4th percentile), but after my 20 week scan I had to have a uterine artery scan at 23 weeks and now growth scans from 28 weeks. It all depends on the reasons they're requesting growth scans
@Sophie okay all the comments make sense. I guess I got growth scan confused when people would mention “my baby is measuring two weeks ahead” when they are 32 weeks and I’m like how did they learn that if they aren’t getting a growth scan? (This is my first pregnancy so I just don’t know)

They can be done at various points depending on the circumstances. Not every pregnancy will have one, I didn’t have with my first, but with my second the fundal height measurements were large so I was referred for one which happened at 37 weeks
