Anyone else struggling to eat healthy?

I sucked through my first trimester though I tried my best. Resorted to beige food and snacking on crackers etc. as I had nausea almost 24/7 that was really bad. Now easing into the second trimester and really feel much more myself but only feel less nauseous if I’m drinking a can of full fat coke or eating basic meals like a bowl of pesto pasta. I want to get back into eating healthy salads and nutritious meals but I can’t seem to get my head around the energy etc. needed to prepare meals like that.

I always put something in slow cooker because at night is when I just don't have the energy to cook so doing that first thing when I wake up means I'm eating a proper meal when it comes to dinner time but the rest of the day I just eat whatever the baby wants x

Yes but I’m not putting pressure on myself. I try when I can. ❤️

@Louise yes fortunately dinner is the one meal we definitely put some effort into and for the most part is healthy (we’re vegan and eat a whole tonne of veggies and pulses etc.) it’s just during the day that I feel I’ve lost any sort of food routine. If I’m in the supermarket and come over all sicky I’m straight to the ice creams or custard donuts, or stopping at the bakery for a sausage roll or something. It’s so tricky 😅 xx

I wouldn’t make yourself feel bad. There’s enough going on. I’m the same. Right now the most important thing is not feeling sick and eating anything I can stomach xxx

Im trying to eat an egg ever day. But with nausea I struggled at times. Lucky enough my sickness are usually at dinner time and i try to eat healthy as much when i can. Dont feel guilty and do your best

I have been eating healthy but always in the night before bed I get crazy hungry and then end up eating some junk. But it’s literally like I must eat or I will die 😂😂 this baby will be so dramatic I can already tell
