Unless it’s like a classic old school car I wouldn’t. Maybe have a mechanic look at for you especially if it’s a “As is” purchase.
For an average family car? No.
and depends on the car and previous owners, and like Annabelle said, how much for the car all together
No, absolutely not, unless it was well maintained its not worth it to put money down on a car with that many miles.
No, a regular car usually comes to the end of its life at about 150-200k miles. Unless you're talking a couple hundred quid I personally wouldn't! A big fancy car might last more, but unless the engine was recently replaced you'd need to invest at least £300 in repairs over a year and at worst over £1500. I have a car that's heading to 140k miles and it's starting needing all kinds of bits replacing. Suspension arm here, head gasket there... Not cheap stuff!
hell no
No
In the UK that’s normal my car had 305,000 😂😂 I do like staying under 200k miles but that’s roughly £2k to buy
Not in a million years. I’ve had my car six years and it has less than 30,000 on it. I wouldn’t put that many on all my cars in my lifetime let alone buy one with that much from the jump lol
No!!
@Annabelle @Sarah He wants 3000 down total price between 7-8000
hell no lol. what kind of car is it? either way, probably tf not tbh
@Sarah 🤣 it's a black Honda can't remember the year
ok so while I do love a Honda, I just don't feel like 7-8k is a good investment for so many miles

Absolutely not
Absolutely not! Any car with over 100,000 miles is bound to break sooner or later and cost more to fix than replace!
@Emily I second this. DON’T DO IT.
I’m not gunna put my kid in it honestly so no
No chance
Nope
@Kaylla oooof no way that's insane money!
No
I’m sure there are others 😂😂
No but it could depend on how much you are in need of your own transportation. It also depends on year, make and model, and price.
Depends on the vehicle (year, make, model), how well it's been maintained, and what kind of work has been done to it. Honda tends to be a reliable brand, but 200k miles is a lot. I'd seek out a car group for it on Reddit or Facebook (for instance, there are a lot of groups that focus on Honda Elements) and get their opinions on it.
Is this a special vehicle that you particularly fancy?
Even though they say Hondas last "forever," no, that's way too high on miles. I think he's trying to rob you!
Depends how much
