Small baby

Currently pregnant with my 2nd but my 1st baby measured small and I got induced at 37 weeks

How small was baby measuring? I really don’t wanna be induced or give birth early. Why did they make this decision and did u have a choices

She was under the 97th, so wasn’t within any of the lines at all. First growth scan was at 32weeks and again at 35 and she was still under the 97th centile..so they said they would like to induce me at 37 weeks as they think she’ll grow better been out.. I was ok with that decision but of course you have a choice, you can ask questions and discuss the risks and benefits.. my baby girl weighed 4lb 7oz, so she was small but it makes me think if they left me just those extra few weeks could she of been 5/6lb baby🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d say she’s still small compared to some kids her age but I’m not worried about it.. I did attempt bf but I found it uncomfortable so pumped for first few weeks then went on to formula.

My sister’s baby bump was measuring “small” and they wanted to induce her… my sister held firm and refused as there were no other issues with baby… when baby was born she was 8lb 4oz so not small at all!! I’m due my baby in June and also measuring small but I don’t want to be induced. Will just let baby do its thing and arrive when ready!! Xx
